Well, the boss had a great time at the Rodriguez Quinceanera. The young girl's aunt insisted that she sit at the head table with the grandparents and wouldn't take no for an answer. An uncle, (a friend of mine) came over and teased her saying, "I asked to sit at this table and they told me no, and here you are."
She enjoyed the mass that was said, and told me that the sermon that was given was quite touching. There was a ton of food and dancing and a lot of dedications given. I think this kind of validation for a daughter is a really cool thing. It's no wonder it has become such an important tradition.
