Isa 64:8
" But now, O LORD,You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand."
He is the potter; we are the clay. Jesus taught us that the knowledge of God's will for us and that to live in obedience to it is the key to everything in our Christian walk. God keeps us in movement on His potter's wheel as He shapes and reshapes us. Sometimes our lives are awash with tears, and still He uses those to smooth and shape our souls, ordering us into a more and more Christ-like individual that can be used for His will. We need to surrender ourselves to Him each day, keeping ourselves moist clay through prayer that is in accordance with that perfect will, and into the hands of the master potter.
