After a good night's sleep, I've had a full morning on this first of two days off. I woke and helped my wife package and label a pilates machine to send it back to the manufacturer as it arrived to us damaged. A parcel service will pick it up and deliver a new one to us.

In order to bring the machine out of the basement and into the garage to have it ready for pickup, I went to the rental store where I work to borrow an appliance dolly. When I got there, they were being overrun by customers and one of my co-workers was out on a delivery so I decided to help them for a while.

Once the pilates machine was stored in the garage, I made a run to the bank and then to the grocery store. After that I stopped by our church to put supplies into the food cupboard for the needy, and discovered that one of our pastors had been prepared to take the junior high kids on an outing, but that one of the two buses we have wouldn't start. I drove home and took a battery charger back up to the church.

When I got back home I cleaned some windows. It's been a nice morning. I'm preparing to eat a late breakfast. At this point I guess we can call it lunch.

I praise God for the fact that I'm free to do the things I do. I'm thankful to Him and hope for a greater ability to appreciate Him more and more.
